How does the virtual personal trainer program GetFit! work?

GetFit! creates a fitness program based on the goals you want to meet, your current fitness level, your schedule and the equipment you have available. GetFit! uses a multimedia demonstration and specific training instructions to motivate you to success.

How do I get started?

First, you will complete a registration process. You will then be directed to complete your Personal Fitness Profile, which only takes a few minutes. Once you have completed your profile, GetFit! will create a customized program, tailored to your needs and goals.

Can I create my own workout?

Yes. If you prefer to create your own workout, there is an extensive library of exercises to choose from. Simply select the exercises you would like to include and the program will generate your workout.

Do I need to have access to a health club?

No. The GetFit! program creator will generate workouts based on the equipment you have available. It is possible to create workouts with no equipment at all.

Can I track my progress?

Yes. After each workout, you will log your progress on your calendar. The program will track each workout and you can view reports on strength, cardiovascular, flexibility, calories burned, and commitment to the program.
