Hand Washing vs. Hand Sanitizer
Which is better for keeping you safe from cold and flu season? According to the CDC, hand sanitizer is just as effective as washing your hands with soap and water.
Sanitizer should be at least 60% alcohol to effectively kill germs.
Washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds is still a good option, but keeping bottles of sanitizer at key places in your workplace may be more convenient for employees.
