Groups that invest in wellness programs see many benefits. One study showed a:
- 56% increase in employee morale
- 41% increase in employee health
- 8% increase in productivity
- 9% reduction in job-related accidents
- 8% reduction in absenteeism

What's more, employers can experience a $3 to $6 return - or more - for every dollar invested in wellness programming.
On average, for every 100 employees:
- 25 have cardiovascular disease
- 12 are asthmatic
- 6 are diabetic
- 26 have high blood pressure
- 30 have high cholesterol
- 38 are overweight
- 21 smoke
- 31 use alcohol excessively
- 20 don't wear seat belts
- 24 don't exercise
- 44 suffer from stress
